I didn’t really enjoy this story. It seemed like it could’ve been done better if it was faster or shorter. The whole dog-into-field thing was too procedural, and I really had trouble connecting Our Hero’s figuring it out and what actually happened. It just didn’t work for me.
From a technical standpoint, please put more pauses between narrtion and dialogue. It makes it less jarring.

I enjoyed the story a lot. Maybe it’s because I’m in Leander and Cedar Park is the neighboring town.
Anyway, I always think that the thing you almost see, out of the corner of your eye, or the reflection in the mirror, can be pretty spooky.
