Posted in Drama, Horror, Science Fiction, Short Story, William Meikle on October 30, 2008 by dunesteef

Megan Dowles has been pressed into service for the government. She’s a historian, so why do they want her on this top secret government project…why do they want to know how well versed she is in Demonology?

Also, Rish and Big talk about the October Scary Story Event, and the best and worst in special effects.

Special thanks to Melissa Hills for the episode art.

Episode 11: Crashing Stolen Cars by Jonathan J. Schlosser

Posted in Drama, Horror, Jonathan J. Schlosser, Short Story on October 15, 2008 by dunesteef

It was an old car. It was a stolen car. Adam and Kelsey thought they’d go for a joyride into the wilderness, find a private place, and use the backseat for what it was made for, but they never counted on the deer. Now they’re in a world of problems.

Also, Rish and Big talk about their progress in the October Scary Story Event, and why this episode is so very late in arriving.

Special thanks to Melissa Hills for the episode art.

The October Scary Story Event

Posted in Administrative, OSSE on October 2, 2008 by dunesteef

We at The Dunesteef Audio Fiction Magazine have decided to have a special short story writing event during the month of October.  Basically the deal is this:  write a scary story within the month of October, and submit it to us.  The best story will be made into an episode of our show.  It doesn’t have to be an idea you came up with during the month of October, just write the story in October.  And be sure it’s scary.  That’s all it takes.  You have a little less than a month now, so you’d better get started.

When you submit your story, be sure to note in the subject line that it is for the October Scary Story Event.  That is all, return to what you were doing.  Thank you.

Promos For Our Show

Posted in Administrative on October 2, 2008 by dunesteef

Here are some promos that we put together for the podcast. One is our normal promo, the second is the cheesy promo. If you have a podcast, or know someone who does, and would like to run one of these promos on your podcast, feel free to do so. And thank you very much.
