Episode 132: Belief by Josh Roseman
When Greg discovers what appears to be a secret message in his computer (and everybody else’s), he has the option of believing it to be from “somewhere else” or just ignoring it like the vast majority would. Which will he choose? Well, the story’s title may give you a bit of a hint there.
Afterward, Big and Rish talk about the story’s ending, and then Rish says a few words about his recent trip to the San Diego Comic-Con. Alright, more than just a few words.

Wow, looks like Greg’s boys take after their mother. If my brothers or I ever talked to our pops in that way, we’d have watched the whole alien invasion thing on a hospital room TV set. Hopefully, the ones who stay in the stadium get, like, immortality hats or can-screw-anybody belts or something. Maybe the Martians say, “What? This is all that showed up? Wow, we’re gonna burn through a lot of death rays punishing everybody who didn’t obey our message.” Hope so, anyway.

Well, that was pretty depressing. I do hope that Greg got something good for his belief. I would have run into the ship too.
