This was a fine story and conversation, alas I hope you well with the patreon but am under threat of spousal injury if I spend more on supporting podcasts, little as I do.

Loved the episode, especially the economic disparity in ability to change bodies in the story. I read a lot of this kind of fiction, which is often categorized as TRANSHUMANISM. Thanks, guys!

I don’t want to be Debbie Downer, but this might not be the best time for a Patreon. It’s quite possible that you are running two weeks late for this. About two weeks ago, Ross Sutherland of the other great podcast, Imaginary Advice, mentioned that his spoken word gigs were off due to restrictions, so the patreon was the majority of his income. I thought, “Duh! I’m so stupid. Of course these guys are suffering.” Since I teach and the wife does hospital food service, we’ve never had the income restriction or time surplus others have had. We sat down and added $20/month to the people to whom we watch or listen who had active Patreon accounts. I am unsure that if you added a Patreon that I would be up to relitigating that discussion. Perhaps others didn’t clue in so fast, but it’s possible that those who are willing have already committed themselves.

On the other hand, maybe people are slower to catch on if they don’t have a creator mention it so maybe you’ll pick up a bunch. I’m just cautious…
